One Scholarship of $7,500 will be awarded to a junior or senior (as of September 2008) at a college or university that offers undergraduate training in radio broadcasting and/or music related programs, such as advertising, mass media, communications, journalism, or music studies.  Some radio experience is considered as a positive, but is not required. This award is made possible by SESAC - representing songwriters, the Best Broadcast Group and the International Broadcasters' Idea Bank.  The scholarship is funded by SESAC, a music licensing company, which contracts with radio stations for the rights to broadcast their material.
